All International flights
Arrange your own flights to and from Europe. To join the Tour for this Sector you should arrive in Paris (France) on 26 November 2007 and depart from Barcelona (Spain) on 10 December 2007. (You will not need to arrange a flight to Paris if you are travelling with the Tour by bus from Belgium).
Advise the local co-ordinator of arrival date and time to arrange airport pick up.
Accommodation
Please contact the local co-ordinator to inform them of your accommodation needs. Either a booking will be made for you as part of group accommodation arrangements, or a list of options will be provided so you can organize you own booking. Payment will be required for all accommodation in Europe.
Travel within Europe
Road travel within Europe Sector 3 will be organised for you. Payment for travel will be required.
Activities
France
Paris 26 November, 2007
The Tour will continue the bus trip to Paris and arrive on 26 November 2007.
Accommodation during the 5 days in Paris will be within easy access to the centre of the city, with time to visit the famous Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum. There will be public satsangs as well as regular daily programs.
The Tour will then travel to the South of Europe, on the way to Spain.
Puy l'Evegue 1 December, 2007
The Tour will stop in the city of Puy l'Evegue located 700 km from Paris, where we will have satsang and stay overnight before reaching Barcelona in Spain.
Spain
Barcelona 2 December, 2007
The Tour will spend 3 days in Barcelona, at a reasonably priced downtown youth hostel located next to the main Gaudi buidings. A public satsang will take place on 3 December 2007. The Tour will then travel on to Madrid the following day. Barcelona has recently been named the European City with the highest quality of life.
Madrid 4 December, 2007
Old history and modern architecture create a unique atmosphere in Madrid, which is the largest city and also the capital of Spain. The Tour will spend one day in Madrid holding a public satsang.
Barcelona 6 December, 2007
European Retreat
The Tour will return to Barcelona for a 4 day Retreat at the foot of the Montserrat Mountains, 50 km outside the city, Montserrat is one of the most powerful telluric places in Europe, and the spiritual heart of Catalonia.
The 45 day European Tour will conclude in Montserrat where everyone is welcome to join the four day Retreat which includes the Living Meditation Intensive, a wonderful finale to the Tour in Europe.
The Tour leaves Europe from Barcelona to travel to Africa on 10 December, 2007.
